Members will explore the role that leadership plays in infusing equity issues throughout the formal and informal curriculum, the challenges that are inherent in taking on leadership roles around issues of equity and inclusion, and exploring privilege and identity as part of our knowledge construction.
Members will also have the opportunity to create lessons that imbed issues of equity into the curriculum.
The sessions will involve discussions, readings, writing of lesson plans, and participation in an online forum.
