Women in Action is a program designed to encourage the active involvement and leadership of ETFO's women members. The workshop looks at the structure of ETFO and the opportunities that exist for women's involvement. It examines styles of leadership focusing on the strengths women bring to an organization. Participants are encouraged to develop strategies to overcome barriers to women's involvement and to plan activities that meet their needs. Finally participants review and practice the skills they need to make their voices heard in meetings.
