ETFO Awards and Scholarships - February 1 Deadline

The ETFO awards program recognizes distinguished academic achievements, and outstanding contributions to education and the federation by its members and others. Over one hundred thousand dollars is distributed annually to member and community groups through the Awards Program.
Look under "FILES" to the right for posters and pamphlets with information. The link below will take you directly to the Awards and Scholarship page of ETFO where applications for the February 2012 Awards Program deadline are now available.

Please note that the following changes have been made to this group of awards:
- A financial component of $ 500.00 has been added for the recipients of the following awards:
- Anti- Bias Award, Arts and Culture Award, Curriculum Development Awards, Rainbow Visions Award, Women Who Develop Special Projects in Science and Technology Award, Writers’ Awards
- The recipients of the following awards are invited to an awards luncheon and ceremony during the Annual Meeting:
Health and Safety Activist Award, Humanitarian Awards, Member Service and Engagement Award, New Member Award,
New Awards:
Member Service and Engagement Award This award recognizes the excellence of ETFO locals in providing service to members, keeping members informed, and involving members in the local. Up to two locals may receive this award annually. Locals receiving this award shall have the president and two representatives from their delegation at invited to a luncheon and awards presentation during the Annual Meeting.
New Member Award This award recognizes a member of ETFO with five years or less membership who has shown a commitment to the objects of ETFO and been significantly involved at the local and/or provincial level of the organization. The recipient shall be invited to a luncheon and be recognized at a ceremony during the Annual Meeting.
