Formation of the In-School Staffing Advisory Committee 

In accordance with Appendix B of the Collective Agreement, the In-School Staffing Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the principal that plays a key role in determining the supervision schedule and staffing structure of the school.  Membership of the committee should represent the size and diversity of the school organization and this varies by school. Please note that “after consultation between the Principal and the Steward regarding the representation on the committee, the Steward facilitates the election of staff representatives by the teachers in the school.” 

This election should happen at each worksite during the first week in September when all staff members are present.
