PETL PD Funding

PETL PD Funding has now been exhausted for the 2011-2012 school year (July 1 - June 30).

 

Please note the new protocol when requesting approval for mileage expenses outlined in the guidelines.

Peel Elementary Teachers' Local Professional Development Fund is money set aside by the Local to fund professional development for PETL members.

NOTE:

  • Please see the full, updated guidelines (June 10, 2011) on this page to the right under "Related Documents".
  • Members can now complete and print an electronic version of the application form online from this page.  
  • Full instructions for submission are included on the "PD Funding Application Form 2011-2012" (both versions) to the right under "Related Documents".
  • All applications MUST be received in the Local office at least 10 school days before the conference start date.
  • Applications are processed within 1 to 2 weeks of being received at the Local office.
  • PETL can fund up to $400 for conference registration, transportation, and accommodation, as well as fund up to 2 days for supply coverage when applicable.
