The New Teacher Committee was newly created in the 2005-2006 school
year to address the needs of the growing number of PETL members in their first five
years of teaching. The committee will be planning a number of workshops throughout
the year related to some of the issues new teachers are dealing with, including the first event:
Teacher Performance Appraisals: Taking Control of the Process to Highlight the Real You.
