STAYING INFORMED WHILE ON LEAVE

Members are encouraged to stay informed about issues while on leave. The following publications will help keep you up-to-date on a quarterly basis:

Health Matters is the Local's the benefits newsletter. Contact information, as well as information on a variety of benefits-related topics can be found in the newsletter.

Local Link is the Local's all-member newsletter, sent to schools at least four times a year. The Link updates members on issues affecting teachers in the classroom, as well as listing important dates and deadlines.

Bargaining Buzz is the Local's all-member negotiation newsletter, typically published on a regular basis leading up to and during periods of Local collective bargaining.

These publications can all be accessed electronically from the PETL Publications menu found just to to the left of this section. Just select the corresponding title to download both current and past issues.

The PETL Collective Agreement and the PETL Benefits Policy are also available on the website, in the secure PETL Message Board which can also be accessed just to the left of this section. The required username and password are available from your school steward, or by contacting the Local office.
