The provincial office of ETFO is located in Toronto at 480 University Avenue. Peel Elementary Teachers Local is one of 67 locals of ETFO. Representing 65,000 people teaching and working in public elementary schools in Ontario, ETFO is a powerful voice in the fight to protect publicly funded public education.
The provincial web site at www.etfo.on.ca contains many valuable resources for its members. Position papers on key issues, articles, reports and briefs are shared on-line allowing members to understand where its union stands on key political and social issues. The site illustrates the many ways ETFO works to get the teachers' perspective on education to the public.
